Before Hylie was even born I saw this idea on the internet and wanted to recreate it with our baby's cute little feet. I cannot tell you how difficult it was to get a picture of Hylie's feet to work with this photo, but I finally did and am pretty pleased with how the whole thing turned out!

One Month!
Geoff's not the only one celebrating landmarks. As hard as it is to believe, Hylie's already one month old! She truly is such a delight in our family. We love her occasional smiles, her warm snuggles, and her ability to make each day an unpredictable adventure.
To celebrate her one month anniversary we took pictures...lots of them.
Happy Birthday, Geoff!
Well, Geoff did it again. He managed to be out of town for his birthday just like last year! Many of you left delightful voice mail messages for him while he was going from connection to connection and he enjoyed having his phone explode with voice mails that didn't have anything to do with work and only left a smile on his face. We were able to celebrate his big day on Friday, September 14th and enjoyed having some friends over for tacos and pudding parfaits.
Happy Birthday, Geoff. We sure love you!

Hylie's Awake Time
We're on the Market!
Geoff and I are very excited for his work opportunities in Skokie, Illinois. Now that Hylie is here safe and sound, we are beginning the process of moving forward with our relocation. This week we contacted a Realtor and boy does he act fast. Our house is already on the market and has had some showings! We still have quite a bit of work to do--organize the basement, shampoo the carpets, and tidy up the garage...but we're getting there.
Here are some of the pictures the Realtor posted:

Here are some of the pictures the Realtor posted:
Geoff has been Mr. Handy-Man and painted our basement
stairs--they used to be a lovely green.
When Geoff finished the second coat, he accidentally stepped in some
paint... so he came up with a perfectly reasonable solution to make sure paint
wouldn't be scattered throughout the house.
I admit, I always dreamed of being organized enough to have
a picture-perfect house--never cluttered, always clean. Now that we HAVE to live in a magazine so
we're ready for showings at any moments notice...I've decided it's not as
glamorous as I thought it would be. In
fact, it's just down-right stressful!
But we can live like a TV family for a few weeks, right?
