Father's Day 2021

Anytime we have an extra excuse to express our thanks and appreciation for Geoff, we take it!  The girls especially get excited planning what to do to make sure their Dad knows how awesome he is.  Here they are presenting him with breakfast in bed on Saturday morning.

Geoff not only works hard to provide for our family, he also works hard to spend time with us.  We're grateful for all the laughs he brings, the lessons he teaches, and the love he gives.  The kids still look forward to and often have count-downs to "Daddy Day" (Saturday) where they know they'll have a bunch of quality time being silly, reading books, and playing video games.  I'm grateful I have this guy by my side as we figure out this parenting thing together.  We have our ups and downs and I'm thankful he is willing to learn with me when we're down and cherish the laughs when we're up.

The girls helped design his shirt...I think he likes it!

Lincoln Zoo Trip - June 15, 2021

Geoff took a day off from work and we all piled in the car to enjoy the day at the zoo!  It was a beautiful, clear, and even a little cooler day.  Absolutely perfect for our wonderful outing!

Hylie showing us how to get a 2 year old to look at the camera, ha!

Can you find the frog?

I love being in this city!

Last Day of School - June 3, 2021

Waiting with Joshua Ding to get picked up by Mom at the Car Cone.

Indeed, we were grateful we had the opportunity to attend school and even have in-person school in April and May--but I must admit, there was a sigh of relief when the craziness of this COVID school year came to an end!

On June 3rd, Hylie finished her 3rd grade year and Eliana completed Kindergarten.  It was a hot, hot day full of sweat and smiles and we even threw in a birthday dinner for me at Red Robin that evening!
